CETEM en la 60ª edición de la Feria del Mueble Yecla

Del 24 al 27 de octubre se volvió a celebrar la Feria del Mueble Yecla, concretamente la 60ª edición. Como es habitual, CETEM estuvo presente en el certamen con su stand institucional habitual y, como novedad, este año se mostró la “eHealth Home” o “casa del futuro” donde, en un stand de más 100 m2 se dieron a conocer los resultados del proyecto PHARAON, mediante la simulación de una casa en la que sus muebles están sensorizados para obtener información acerca de constantes vitales de sus usuarios así como de sus comportamientos y hábitos. Se trata, realmente, de lo que se conoce como “medicina preventiva” muy útil también para el cuidado de personas mayores y/o enfermas.

En el stand institucional de CETEM se mostraron los prototipos finalistas de la 26ª edición del Concurso de Diseño Industrial de Mobiliario “CETEM DESIGN AWARD, además, Se dió información genérica sobre los proyectos y servicios que CETEM presta al tejido empresarial, exponiéndose el resultado de varios proyectos relacionados con el ámbito de materiales sostenibles y economía circular.

Fueron muchísimas las visitas recibidas, especialmente en el stand “eHealth Home” e incluso se realizó una mesa redonda moderada por el Director de CETEM y en la que participaron el Director General del Servicio Murciano de Salud, el responsable de innovación del Servicio Murciano de Salud y el Director Gerente del Instituto Murciano de Acción Social y una profesora titular de la Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena. Ese mismo día, también tuvimos la visita de la Vicepresidenta del Gobierno de la Región de Murcia.

Presence of CETEM at the 60th Yecla Furniture Fair

From 24 to 27 October, Yecla Furniture Fair was held again, being this time its 60th edition. As usual, CETEM was participating in the event with its institutional stand. This year, as a novelty, the eHealth Home or ‘future home’ was presented on a stand of over 100 m2 in size. PHARAON project results were also presented there in the simulation of a house with sensorised furniture. These sensors provided users’ vital signs, as well as their behaviour and habits. Such development is known as preventive medicine, which is really useful to take care of elderly people or people with illness.

Finalist prototypes from the 26th “CETEM DESIGN AWARD” (Furniture Industrial Design Competition) were shown at CETEM stand, and general information about the projects and services offered by CETEM to the business world was given as well, showcasing the results of several projects related sustainable materials and circular economy.

The stand received many visitors, especially the “eHealth Home” stand. There was even a rountable discussion, whose moderator was the Director of CETEM. It was attended by the Director General of the Murcia Health Service, the head of innovation of the Murcia Health Service, the Managing Director of the Murcia Institute of Social Action and a lecturer from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena. On the same day, we also had the visit of the Vice-President of the Government of the Region of Murcia.
